From
many years he has played as a concert artist, performing all kinds
of music, from baroque to contemporary.
He has participated as principal flautist in a number of cultural
events organized by the Conservatorio of Naples, some of them at the
important “William Walton”
Foundation in Forio d’Ischia.
He has attended a lot of advanced courses, for example with
Meynart Niedhermyr
(soloist with the Wiener Philharmoniker);Vasco
Degl’Innocenti (soloist
with the ”A,Scarlatti” Orchestra of Naples, and teacher of flute in
the “L.Cherubini” conservaqtory of Firenze) and
Enzo Caroli, the world
famous soloist.
He has also collaborated with a number of theatre companies in
various kinds of shows, for example” La gatta Cenerentola”, directed
by Roberto De Simone
and other productions by the same director.
He has played as a soloist in
the orchestras of famous Neapolitan churches and organizations,
such as the “Villa Campolieto” of Ercolano, some of them with
the conductor Joseph Grima.
In January 2000 he has played
for the “Italian Youth Orchestra (OGI) of the
RAI of Fiesole, and
for the Symphonic Orchestra of Pescara under the direction of
Donato Renzetti.
He has participated in a number
of concerts by various musical groups. In November 2001 he
played in radio program ”Buddhabar” of RAI
Radio3 and has also
recorded cds and sound tracks.
He also gives flute lessons to
the great satisfaction of his students.
He has also been teaching the
flute at the G.Verdi secondary school
in Torre del Greco, and at the ”P.Colosimo”
institute and the
institute “Performance” institute
of Naples.
Besides teaching music he does
music therapy. He received a degree in music therapy at the
L.U.M.E.N.A in Pescara attached to the Music Academy of Pescara.
Likewise in in Pescara he is an associate of the “Psycos”
institute.
As a music therapist he works
at the Centro Serena
in Marano, Naples.
